With the right color combos, shatter can still be hot. ;)

The is only one hour left in this Saturday, but it’s been a while since I have done a Saturday Swatch, and I thought I could fit one in.
Today’s swatch does feature a teensy bit of nail art, haha, but eight out of my ten fingers were sporting Revlon’s Naughty, so we’ll just call it a swatch. ;)
Naughty is a beautiful purpley-brown mushroom color with a vibrant violet shimmer. Naughty is a re-release of Revlon’s Perplex, which is the dupe of the highly coveted Chanel Paradoxal.

Here is what Naughty’s base color looks like when it’s not giving off the violet shimmer.

In total: The formula on this polish is great. It is super pigmented and applies gorgeously, giving full coverage in two easy coats. As for wear, I only wore this manicure for about two days before I took it off myself, so I am unaware on how it performs in this area. Although, I’ve seen other reviews, and have yet to read a negative comment regarding wear. As for the color? L-o-v-e. I have been coveting Revlon’s Perplex for the longest time, and am extremely happy with Revlon’s decision to re-release it. This is now definitely my favorite shroomy color in my collection. One complaint that people may have though, is that the violet shimmer is more pronounced in the bottle than when painted on the nail. Personally, I actually like that it is more subtle, as it makes the polish have that *special* effect, haha, but that’s just my opinion!
Thanks for reading!
Medium/short squoval; Magenta and gun metal halfmoons with silver glitter outline.
I did these so long ago, my second documented attempt at nail art! :’)
I really need to get back into the half moon design. It’s effortlessly classy.
Short square; hot pink.
Materials: Sinful Colors (Hot Pink).
Neon nails are sunshine nails. The only problem with this polish? Chip galore. Other than that, it’s as perfect as a neon pink can get.
Medium square; Matte Funky swirl and cheetah design.
Materials: L.A. Colors - Tropical Storm, Hard Candy - Matte-ly In Love, white acrylic paint, and a small paint brush.
Both hands, the thumb design was the hardest to duplicate on the right hand. :P
Medium square; Matte Funky swirl and cheetah design.
Materials: L.A. Colors - Tropical Storm, Hard Candy - Matte-ly In Love, white acrylic paint, and a small paint brush.
This was a product of quickly doodling on my nails. Random and funky!
Medium square; VALENTINES DAY design, with red 3D bow on ring, and shatter/crackle on middle and pinky.
Materials: Orly - Au Champagne, N.Y.C - Black Lace Creme, Charlotte Russe - Candy Apple Red, L.A. Colors - Moody Red, Kleancolor - Red Crackle, 2012 - Eternity, Jordana - Calcium Boost Basecoat, Jordana - Quick Shine Top Coat, and a .5 lead pencil.
Had to post a pic of this mani under low lighting, because it really captured the beautiful shimmering white that is Orly - Au Champagne.
Short squoval; Bubblegum pink base, with white roses, and color coordinating butterfly on thumb.
Materials: Ulta’s Pink (unknown name, sorry), Craft Smart paint, small paintbrush, and Sally Hansen Diamond Top Coat.
These were done for my best friend on her prom, a few months ago. Her dress was a cute soft pink, so she picked a lively bubblegum pink as her back round color. It was her polish, so I don’t have the name to post up on here, but I believe she got it at Ulta from the Ulta brand. She wanted white roses to go with the the soft theme of her outfit. Let me tell you right now, white roses are much difficult than they seem, haha. We joked that the roses ended up looking like popcorn, lol! She still liked it though, as a good friend would. :)
